I have been on the matchmaking service for over 2 years and I have only had 3 dates and they were unsuccessful. When I asked why I was not getting any dates she said that if you were not overweight you would get more matches because guys like skinny woman. For those of you still looking and perhaps feeling discouraged, I hope you reach out to Laura, get out there for speed dating and singles events and don't give up. Laura is a fantastic coach but you have to bring an open mind and degree of dedication to the table. My search took over a year and prior to working with Laura, involved a lot of trial and error! Through SINTC, I learned what to do, what to look for and started meeting more and more appropriate, potential partners until one really clicked". Laura is also a great matchmaker, having set me up with several awesome guys (one resulting in a 6 month relationship). She is super responsive, provides solid dating advice and is just generally a really cool person! Lisa Bucher. I paid for coaching on Dec 28, 2020. I did not hear back from Laura. So, I inquired with her. She could not find my payment, which my bank confirmed the order had been processed from my bank card. She finally confirmed that I had paid. She apologized for the mix up. Our schedules didn't match up. When I went to get back to her, she didn't respond. She said she was sick for two weeks. Had difficulty getting a refund because they couldn't find the payment. It took a lot of back and forth but finally got a refund. Not a great experience. Jen Houston. I love Single in the City! I’m not going to lie, I was nervous as hell about speed dating. One of my friends and I decided to go to a Single in the City speed dating event held here in Toronto solely from word of mouth, cuz we heard they had a great reputation. I was very impressed because the attendees were genuinely single, the venue was quite classy, no awkwardness and no segregation in the sexes and the mingling was definitely on. Ive landed two amazing dates so far and will be attending again. Will also spread the word to others, keep up the awesome work. Thanks. Landon Hamilton. I had never heard of anybody taking speed dating seriously. Everyone either goes for laughs or to 'get back out there.' I was mainly bored, looked up some sites here in Tdot and found Single in the City. They seemed reputable, so I decided to give it a try, I signed up for the Singles Club on the site, it’s only $125. The first two speed dating events I went to, seemed pretty cool, the people weren’t awkward at all. I didn’t like the information overload, even though the venue was very nice, it was too packed and I couldn’t remember names, lol. The third one I went to was just for fun again and I met my gorgeous girl, Ayanna, we’ve been together for 7 months now.
