Local Awesome Date Ideas. OK guys and gals, I'm looking for your best and brightest ideas for great dates to take your partner on. Beautiful views, fun activities, awesome food and drinks, memory makers.

Budget friendly and otherwise. A nice place for a picnic is the boardwalk at battleship park. In the far back corner of the field with the big bomber plane, helicopter, and old NASA rocket there is a little boardwalk entrance. It leads out into the marsh and has a really nice 2 story pavilion with iron spiral staircases that overlooks the bay. It's really nice out there and it seems no one knows it's there, as I've never seen a soul out there. My wife and I actually got married out there. We go out there on occasion and have a picnic lunch. It's probably a bit hot out there this time of year for that though. I didn't know that was back there and I have been out there several times. Thanks for sharing the info. Thanks! I can imagine that isa good place, especially in the cooler weather we(hopefully) get. Do you have to pay to get there? My husband and I do date nights for Art Walk. Dinner, art, drinks. always a good time. Breakout Mobile was amazing! Took a date and we played an escape room then went downtown for drinks. Did you feel it was worth the price? I know it's a national chain, and the only complaints I've heard are people saying it's a bit pricey. Okay, this is a couple of weeks old, but we always need date ideas so I thought I would still answer. Activities: Port City Mini Golf Sunset (Blakely, Fairhope, Bellerose, Washhouse) Fairways bar Eastern Shore Lanes (laser tag & bowling) Crescent Theater Rent kayaks Gulfquest Battleship Park Canoe/kayaking: Bartram canoe trail, magnolia springs. Food: Washhouse Master Joe's Causeway Red or White Fuego Osman's Mirko's Sai Sho. I started making this list when I lived in the Eastern Shore so there are a few things on the list that are over there. I've since moved to Midtown and haven't quite gotten out (besides downtown) enough to really add much more to the list.
